Patience that you are cultivating because of it will grow as a quality that you can tap into any time. Patience for yourself, your practice and patience in daily life.
“Patience is the form of wisdom. It demonstrates that we understand that things must unfold in our own time, so trust in that unfolding” – (Jon Kabat-Zinn)
This is part of practice. To relieve yourself of the pressure of anything that you are not and accept all of who you are. This is form of radical self-acceptance. It doesn’t mean we give up our efforts to better ourselves, strive and succeed. All it means is that we learn how to treat ourselves with compassion and acceptance which ultimately leads to success that so many of us desire.
Always come back to acceptance. Practice gentleness and compassion as ‘religion’.
“Perfection is the 20 ton shield that we lug around thinking it will protect us, when in fact it’s really preventing us from taking a flight.” – (Rene Brown)
